Nathan Barnes, Campus Pastor

Nathan comes to us from the main campus in Thunder Bay, and is accompanied by his wife Carrie, and his two sons, Keilan and Caleb.  Nathan brings a passion for worship, for creative speaking, and a desire to see God's Kingdom expand in the city of Barrie.

Nathan also enjoys rock-climbing, and is planning on joining our local indoor rock-climbing gym, as well as seeing what the area surrounding Barrie has to offer an enthusiastic climber.  Nathan is also an enthusiastic paintball player, and loves browsing the internet for deals on new gear.  Nathan also enjoys playing his guitar, and creating new tones on his Line 6 POD.

Carrie enjoys gardening, team sports, and chasing after the two boys.  She is also a Registered Practical Nurse, and will be working in the community as well.  Carrie is excited to see what kind of sporting opportunities Barrie has to offer, and can't wait to get to know the Barrie Alliance community as well.

Keilan and Caleb are the crazy boys, and although Nathan often gets blamed for their energy, the truth is they are more like their mother than their father.  Keilan is going into grade one and loves reading, especially Calvin and Hobbes.  Caleb is less interested in sitting around and loves anything that keeps him moving.  The boys are a lot of fun, and like all boys their age, have a talent for chaos and disaster.

To see more of life in the Barnes home, you can look up Carrie and Nathan on Facebook.  You can also follow Nathan on Twitter.

    Doug Doyle, Senior Pastor

Doug has been the senior pastor of Redwood Park Church for over fifteen years, and has enjoyed watching our church family grow from two hundred to around a thousand people. Doug is married to his wife Jane, has three children: Meagan, Susan and Graeme, a couple of boarders, as  well as a black lab named, Sabu. Meal times at the Doyle household are always a party, but you might want to ask what it is you’re eating – as sometimes he enjoys a hike with a good friend and a gun in the beauty of the Northwestern Ontario bush.

Check out Doug's Facebook page to learn a little more about him.
